Springhill Communities in Bloom is happy to announce The Third Annual Springhill Turkey Trot is happening....Virtually! That’s right, you can do the run where you want and when you want as long as it's completed before Saturday October 10th 2020. Our goals this year are to keep the spirit of our race alive, encourage people to stay active and most of all stay positive during these challenging times. What better way to do this than a 5k walk or run with your friends (at a safe distance of course).
The event is FREE and the first 100 registrants will receive a medal. The option to donate to Springhill Communities in Bloom is available if you wish. Like previous years all proceeds from the race go to Springhill CIB projects, this organization is 100% not for profit and any money raised goes back into our community making it a better, brighter place.

A virtual race can be completed from any location your heart desires even a treadmill. Here's how to do it:
Step one: Register for the Springhill Virtual 5k Turkey Trot (sooner the better if you want a medal)
Step two: Complete the 5km distance before October 10th 2020. There is no professional timing, you time yourself (if you want to)
Step three: Come to our event page and upload your results
We have 100 awesome medals to give out to the first 100 registrants. If you are local (within Cumberland County) we will be at the Dr Carson and Marion Community centre October 10, specific time TBA. We will mail medals to anyone outside of Cumberland county.
*If you are a local runner and unable to pickup your medal email or call the race director and we will sort something out.
