JACOA is a nonprofit drug and alcohol rehabilitation facility located in Jackson, Tennessee. Since 1964, JACOA has worked to help West Tennesseans battle addiction. A unique aspect of our program is that we are not only licensed to treat substance use disorders but also individuals with co-occurring mental health disorders.
OUR MISSIOn
The mission of JACOA is to provide the highest quality of care possible to people who are suffering from substance use disorders or co-occurring mental health disorders in an environment that preserves and promotes the dignity of the persons served without regard to race, color, creed, gender, economic or social circumstance, sexual orientation, or national origin.
Below is a brief summary of the services JACOA provides annually:
- 500 individuals served from across 25 counties across Tennessee
- 475 teens from 48 counties across Tennessee attend our Tennessee Teen Institute (TTI)
- P.I.E. Partner to The B.E.S.T. Academy.
- Hosted monthly Early Intervention and DUI classes – taught by JACOA staff members
- Approximately 300 individuals participated in our transitional and permanent housing program
