The County Kids of Steel Triathlon offers kids the experience of a triathlon in a postive and fun way. Our distances are kid-friendly so any child can finish successfully with a smile on their face!

weather policy / cancellation policy
The County Kids of Steel Triathlon is held rain or shine. In the event of severe weather (thunder and lightening) or other uncontrollable circumstances, every effort will be made to allow the race to run. i.e delaying start times, shortening distances, changing the event to a duathlon. If this is not possible, the event will be cancelled without refunds.
becoming an OAT member
If your child participates in more than one triathlon over the summer and gets an OAT membership, the OAT one-day membership fee is waived. Please register your child under the OAT member option. If you have more than one child from the same family who is an OAT member, please email countykos@gmail.com for a special promo code for the family discount. "Same family" is defined as immediate family living in the same household. For more information about joining OAT please visit their website - http://triathlonontario.com/members/
TRIATHLON ONTARIO Membership
- Annual YOUTH 15 & Under membership is only $32.00+$6.00TriCan Fee(as of December 31st, in the year of competition).
- Annual KIDS 11 & Under membership is only $15 + $6.00 TriCan Fee(as of December 31st, in the year of competition).
- The annual membership for Juniors (aged 16 to 19) is $46.00+ $6.00 TriCan Fee
- Youth athletes without a full year membership must purchase a $6.00 One Day License at each race.
- Juniors without an annual membership will be required to pay a $8.00 One Day License fee.
- Youth under age 8 without an annual membership must purchase a $2.00 One Day License fee.

All Triathlon Ontario membship numbers will be validated with Triathlon Ontario prior to the event. Participants will not be able to race without a valid Triathlon Ontario membership. Participants without a valid Triathlon Ontario membership will be subject to an additional $25 processing charge on race day.
