The Germazing Race VIRTUAL 5K Run/Walk

What is a Virtual Run/Walk?

It’s easy! Run or walk 5K (3.1 miles) anywhere, anytime from June 20^th through June 30^th, then you'll have the option to log your results at: Germazing Race Results You will need your race signup confirmation number OR you can log in through Race Roster. We encourage the use of timers or GPS tracking via watches or phones, but we will accept all posted times on the honor system.

What do I get for entering a Virtual Race?

All 5K registrants that sign up online by 11:59 pm on June 3rd will receive a short sleeve 10th Annual Germazing Race shirt & goody bag. The past 9 years of fundraising with the Germazing Race has enabled St. Germaine School to lease Chromebooks for every student in 1st through 8th grades. Who would have guessed how useful those turned out to be! Your race entry will contribute directly to the new Chromebook lease, as well as making a generous donation to the Our Lady at St. Germaine Food Pantry.

How can I register?

Registration will be online only on the Race Roster page. If you are registering more than one participant (for either the 5K or the Kids Dash), enter the information for first person, then select “Add Another Registrant” at the bottom. Group discounts for 4 or more 5K registrations will be applied at checkout. ALL REGISTRATIONS MUST BE COMPLETED ONLINE BY JUNE 3^rd IN ORDER TO RECEIVE A GERMAZING RACE SHIRT. Once race shirts are ordered, there will be no exchanges.

What about the Kids Dash?

We encourage the 10 & under Kids Dashers to make their own obstacle course at home, or run around the block, or take a walk with their family… the sky is the limit! Kids Dashers will receive a short sleeve race shirt that they can wear on gym days to school next year.

Will there be Awards?

Due to budget constraints from limited sponsorships & the transition to a virtual format, we will unfortunately not be able to offer age group awards this year.

How will Packet Pickup work?

Registered participants will be able to drive up to the Our Lady at St. Germaine parking lot to receive their race bags without leaving their car. All race volunteers will be following the latest COVID safety protocols & will be using PPE as necessary. Please see the Packet Pickup section below for updated time & date.

Saturday, June 13th from 10 am to noon

Monday, June 15th from 5 pm to 7 pm
