The Stop, Drop and Run 5K Run/Walk, hosted by Naperville Professional Firefighters for a Cause and the Naperville Fire Department is to raise awareness and funds for Camp 'I am Me.' Camp 'I am Me' is a special and unforgettable one-week camp experience for children and teenagers who have experienced injuries from burns. Through the generosity of donors, supporters, and volunteers, the Illinois Fire Safety Alliance offers this camping opportunity at no-cost to campers; including lodging, meals, activities, and transportation to and from camp (YMCA Camp Duncan - Ingleside, IL). Camp 'I Am Me’ provides the setting for child burn survivors to share their common experiences while being able to play and not feel self-conscious about their scars. The benefits to the campers – physical, psychological, and emotional – have been enough to inspire a long list of eager volunteers and contributors.

Pre Race Day Packet Pick Up
There will be a pre-race day packet pick up on October 1 from 8 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. and October 2 from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. at the Fire Department Administration office - 1380 Aurora Avenue. ********Anyone registering AFTER 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 29th can pick up their packet at Safety Town on RACE DAY*******
