Help Rex raise money

For participating in Chuck’s Virtual 5KM Run, Walk and Wheel for Dystonia

My Story…

Thank you for supporting Chuck Virtual run. I am on my Daughter Shelby's Newkirk team. She developed Dystonia 10 years ago and it has changed her life. She has uncontrollable spasms in many muscles and we can't do anything to stop it. In spite of all that, she has done so many incredible things: World class swimmer who holds a world record, and multiple Canadian and Americas records; University student studying education to become elementary teacher; volunteer coach for para swimmers and inspires the young swimmers in her club. She has inspired me to joining her team and do the 5 k virtual run to raise money for research to find cures for this disease. We have been going out in wheel chairs and started doing our 5 k. I had no idea of how hard it is to wheel on uneven ground. Curbs and sidewalks are dangerous. I am looking forward to spending time with Shelby and doing this challenge to support this very important research. Please join us.
