The Get Healthy with GPA 5K Walk/Run is a race to support the Gardner Pilot Academy.

Have fun getting healthy while helping us raise $5,000 to ensure that our students from Pre-K through grade 8 have the mental and physical health and wellness resources and services they need to thrive!

ABOUT GPA

As a Boston Public School, GPA serves nearly 400 students starting at age 3 progressing to grade 8. Over 82% of our students are identified as high needs by the state, which means that we serve a large number of students who live far below the poverty line and many who have directly experienced trauma. In the role of a full-service community school, GPA strives to become a hub of the Allston/Brighton neighborhood, bringing together many partners to offer a range of supports and opportunities to children, their families, and the rest of the community - before, during and after school, over the summer, and into the evenings. Each year, the school is tasked with raising an additional $50,000 for health and wellness supports and services that go towards basic supplies for the nurse, mental health counselors, sports activities and teams, and more.
