Sarasota Laps For Life goes Virtual!

This has been a challenging year, in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Knights of Columbus knows that the health and safety of our participants is a priority and this is why we have decided to go Virtual!

You can be a part of this special cause by completing a timed distance of 5K (3.1 miles) in your neighborhood, park, or other favorite outdoor location, anytime between September 12th through October 3rd.

Help us raise funds to benefit women and children in our community that need our help.

The Knights of Columbus are Catholic men who volunteer their time and resources to put faith into action within our community and around the globe. With our Laps for Life cause, we raise money to help finance local pregnancy centers that provide free services designed to help both the baby and mother, so that a new life can be born into the world and cared for. In Sarasota, we saw a need to bring attention to My Choice Pregnancy Center, where they serve and save daily. This is our third year hosting this 5K charity event and have raised over $50,000 thanks to kind and generous supporters.

Psalm 139: For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth.
