This is our 9th Annual Running with Caleb 5K. It will take place March 14, 2020. Starting in Columbia Friendship Park across from Columbia High School. The race will wind through beautiful Downtown Columbia and the Church Street Historic District before returning to the park.
The 9th Annual Running with Caleb 5K through the streets of Columbia, MS will benefit the Caleb Eli Coleman Memorial Scholarship fund. Scholarships are given to a high school senior athlete, male and female, enrolled at Columbia Academy, to be applied to their college of choice.
Caleb went to be with the Lord November 13, 2011 following a car accident. Caleb was a 2-time state cross country champion, participated in baseball, soccer, track, football, and show choir. He is remembered for his tremendous love for Christ, his humor that could make anybody smile regardless of the situation, and his deep love for his family and friends. This 5K and scholarship are annual events, directed at keeping Caleb's memory and legacy alive for years to come.
