Join us for the 19th Annual Gumbo Flats Pumpkin Run

The Chesterfield Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce its 19th Annual Gumbo Flats Pumpkin Run. This popular event will take place on Saturday, October 24, 2020 and will begin at the Chesterfield Towne Center. Hundreds of community members join us each year for the annual Chesterfield Chamber of Commerce Gumbo Flats Pumpkin Run/Walk. The 5K and 10K are out and back courses. The Chamber also hosts a half-mile Children's Fun Run for ages 10 and under. Costumes are encouraged for kids and adults alike! Join the fun and out 19th annual run! Hundreds of community members join us each year for the annual CCOC Gumbo Flats Pumpkin Run/Walk. The 5K and 10K are out and back courses. The Chamber also hosts a half-mile kid's fun run for ages 10 and under. Costumes are encouraged for kids and adults alike!

The 5K and 10K races will serve as the 2020 "short" and "long" road racing championships for the Ozark Association of USA Track & Field. To enter the USATF "race within a race", simply identify yourself as a current USATF member when you register or email jake@fleetfeetstlouis.com after you register to let him know you are a member. You will be asked for your membership number when you pick up your race number.

5K Closed

Timed 5K. The race will have 25 person waves every 5 minutes, starting at 7am through 8:35am. Participants choose their start time from those available at time of registration. Course closes at 10am. Participants are highly encouraged to pick their packets up at Row House Chesterfield on Thursday, October 22 and Friday October 23.

Virtual 5K Closed

Registrants will receive a long sleeve commemorative 2020 pumpkin run shirt, swag bag, and bib. Race times can be submitted online (deadline: Oct 25, 2020 end of day) and participants will be eligible for awards. Participants are highly encouraged to pick their packets up at Row House Chesterfield on Thursday, October 22 and Friday October 23. If the health department allows it, we will open up the on-site race to more participants in the order the virtual registrations are received. If this is the case you will receive an email requesting confirmation if you would like to participate in the in-person race or would prefer to run/walk off site and we will have an assigned staggered start.

Packet Pickup Info

Packet pickup is available on:
Thursday, October 22 - 8am - 6pm | Row House Chesterfield
Friday, October 23 - 8am - 6pm | Row House Chesterfield
Saturday, October 24 - 6:30am-9am | Race Site

Participants are highly encouraged to pick their packets up at Row House Chesterfield on Thursday, October 22 and Friday October 23. There will be pickup available the week following the race for those who can't make the packet pickup hours at Row House Chesterfield, but you must email info@chesterfieldmochamber.com to pre-arrange post race day packet pickup.

Awards Info

First, Second, and Third place awards will be given to the top runners in each age category/race as well as the overall for the 5k and 10k.
