Randy Simmons was a long time educator and coach in the Peoria Public Schools.
The Randy Simmons Scholarship was created to honor his dedication to our students. Each year, one graduating senior from each of our high schools will be selected to receive this scholarship based on the following characteristics:
Leadership, High Character, Respect and Honor
The graduate must have a passion for fitness, athletics and/or extra-curricular activities. They must also have a passion for learning while pursuing a post-secondary degree. The graduate must be a person who brings energy and passion to everything he/she does while always putting others first.
