The Valley Vertikiller is a challenging race showcasing the beautiful trail network on Sumas Mountain. All distances feature single track trails of varied technicality through the towering forest, over raging creeks and with stunning views of the Fraser Valley.
If you are wanting to dabble in the Vertikiller Lore but are looking for something a little more fluffy try our new fast and furious 10k Verticuddler. The Verticuddler has all the fun and flow without the killer climb to the peak.
Unfortunately the actual Valley Vertikiller event can’t happen this year but we’ve come up with a creative way to experience a piece of the Vertikiller lore while staying safe amidst the ongoing pandemic. Introducing the Verticuddler 10K Challenge! Run the loosely flagged official 10k race route any time between Oct 3-31st following the map & GPX that will be emailed to you prior to the start date. Times will be tracked via Strava and uploaded to our new Verticuddler website. Check the leader board for your time vs the other participants. At the end of the month the Top 3 female and male runners will be crowned. We will also virtually giveaway some sweet draw prizes.

VERTICUDDLER 10K CHALLENGE Closed
Smaller in distance and elevation, but still big on fun and adventure! This is the cuddly version of the Valley Vertikiller. Roughly 10km with around 400m of elevation gain. You'll start with a tiny climb and end with a flat sprint to the finish line. In the middle there's some glorious up and down vert. Let's Boogie!!!

Age Restrictions
The Valley Vertikiller is a very challenging race, which presents various medical risks, some of which may be extremely serious or fatal.
Only runners aged 18 years or older on race day are eligible to register.
