Your Virtual 2020 State Street Mile
Due to the impacts of COVID-19, the State Street Mile will celebrate its 21st running as a virtual race from Wednesday, June 10 to Sunday, July 5, 2020.
Known as the “Fastest, Funnest Mile in the West,” the annual community pre-summer tradition benefits the Santa Barbara District Attorney’s Victim-Witness Assistance Program’s Crime Victim Emergency Fund, an important community support service during these stressful times.
“In these stressful times, when people are isolated and without social support, the risk of abuse is elevated, as is our need to experience the joys of health, exercise and freedom. Like past editions, this year’s virtual event will raise funds for our Crime Victim Emergency Fund to support our most vulnerable neighbors. Family Fun Mile Closed
Together with your family run a mile between Wednesday, June 10 and Sunday, July 5. Have fun while social distancing from others. Share your photos on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter with the #StateStreetMile hashtag. WIN: If your family runs in costumes, please share those images as well, and in a random draw, we’ll offer two groups entry into a future State Street Mile (limit 5 per group).

Virtual Ranked Mile (timed) Closed
Want to time your virtual State Street Mile and be ranked? Through our registration platform, Race Roster, you’ll be able to sync your best mile time through the RunKeeper app or simply upload a picture of your GPS device. There will also be a course map available via RunGo, which allows you to run the State Street Mile on your own route or home treadmill. WIN a comped entry into a future State Street Mile, Through the leaderboard on Race Roster we will be awarding top male & female runners in each age group category (10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-plus).
