Has the chaos of the coronavirus turned your world upside down? Have no fear I have the positive influence you need in your life right now! It's time to commit to achieving your fitness goals! You my friends are destined for greatness! With Spring finally here and Earth Day just around the corner I am PUMPED for running season! I will be your virtual cheerleader and your number 1 fan (keeping my distance of course) in completing your 6 miles of pure motivation! YOU GOT THIS!
WHAT:
A 6 mile Virtual run or walk. You pick your route in your area/region
P.S. Strava art gets you bonus points
New to virtual running? Just to clarify what virtual run is:
A virtual run event is completed at the location of your choice. You can run, jog, skip, hop, or walk on the road, trail, or treadmill.
You get to run your own race, at your own pace, and time it yourself.
HOW IT WORKS:
Make the commitment and register below for the 6 miles.
You will receive a confirmation email that will include a 6 week training program (starting April 6th) if you need a game plan to get you going.
Game Day Performer? Perfect! Register whenever and submit your run results by the end of May 17th.
Download strava (its free in the app store) to track your mileage
For each run/walk that you complete be sure to post or tag for your chance to get your hands on some swag
Keep an eye out for emails and social posts for fun challenges, extra workouts, prizes, and inspiration
Get Goofy! 1 award will be going to best dressed

May 16th & 17th, 2020
Anytime From 12:01 AM on May 16th - May 17th until 11:59PM
WHO:
ABSOLUTELY EVERYONE!
Runners & Walkers are welcome! I encourage you to take your fur baby or stroller with you!
SUBMIT YOUR RESULTS:
You will need to have AT LEAST one of the following:
On Race Roster submit your results button located underneath the registration button on homepage
Photo of you (selfie's are acceptable) PLUS a photo of your watch (or timing device,) Strava or app tracker or even treadmill
Video of you running or walking or documenting a piece of your adventure
Written story, poem, song, or interpretative dance along with a photo of how you tracked your run or walk
Submissions can be sent to one of the social channels or by email (runcoachlaura@gmail.com) You will get a confirmation reply to let you know your submission was received.
If you are having techy issues please let me know and we can figure out a way to get your submission accepted.
Results for the 6 mile race needs to be submitted by the end of May 17th (11:59PM)
