Go the 'Social' Distance

The "Go the social Distance" virtual 5k is a free run/walk designed to keep our community inspired to exercise and encouraged to engage socially online while we are safer at home. Gather your family and friends (virtually), follow social distancing rules, and have fun competing for the top prize, bragging rights and recognition on Play Frisco social media as the fastest social distancer.

How it works:

1. Create a Race Roster account and register participants online April 1 through April 12.

2. Complete a 5K between April 1 and April 12 by walking or running. You can use a free app like Runkeeper (that will show your distance, time your 5K, and let you screenshot your race route) or just time yourself participating in the correct distance. You can run/walk/jog in your neighborhood or on your favorite trails, anywhere you want including using a treadmill if you have one at home.

3. After you complete your 5K, login to your account and report your results before April 12 at 11:59 PM. https://results.raceroster.com/results/yssq7yraxtbmk7e9

4. Post your route screenshots and race selfies in the Facebook event and/or tag us in your social media posts so we can cheer you on!

5. We will post the division winners on @PlayFrisco social media.
