Wilden's 3rd Trail Run.
GOING VIRTUAL
September 1- October 4 2020
In order to keep everyone healthy and safe we have decided to turn the 2020 Wild One Run into a virtual race.
Now is a great time to be active, to stay connected and to come together for a cause, even if it's not in person. We hope you'll join us for our first virtual run taking place Canada-wide throughout the month of September.
Interact with your fellow participants and runners using the hashtag #WildOneRun. Follow us on Facebook and Instagram, and share your photos with us. We might not be running together, but we are still showing up for the same reason: Raising Awareness & Funds for Youth Mental Health.
All proceeds go to the Blenk Family Fund for Youth Mental Health
If you registered by Sept. 13th your shirt is now ready for pick up or has been mailed.
DUE TO SMOKE THE REGISTRATION DEADLINE IS EXTENDED UNTIL SUNDAY, OCTOBER 4TH.
COMPLETE YOUR DISTANCE AND SUBMIT YOUR RESULT BY SUNDAY, OCTOBER 11TH
Virtual Race Details
Registration Includes:
- 2020 Wild One T-Shirt
- Results Posted Online
How It Works:
- Register for your preferred distance
- Complete your distance any time (or many times) in the month of September
- You choose the pace, the date and the location
- You can do the full distance at once or break it into smaller increments over several days
- Track your time manually, through an app or with GPS
- Submit you results online through RaceRoster
- Post your pictures on Wilden's Facebook page or share them on Instagram using #WildOneRun
Where is this Race?
- This is a Virtual Event. We will mail your shirt and you complete your race when and where you choose!
- This virtual run is open Canada wide. Sorry, no shipping outside of Canada.
Okanagan Runners:
If you live in or near Wilden we'd love to see you complete your distance on the Wild One run course. The 5K and 10K run will be marked throughout September.
Please note that the Wilden backcountry is private property and that you enter at your own risk. Make sure you have your phone with you in case you get off route or lost. Let people know where you are in case you get injured on the trails and need help.
Join Us Across Canada:
If you're joining us from other parts in Canada we invite you to get outside on your favourite trails or running route, have fun and run for Youth Mental Health.
