![]() | Fleet Feet St. Louis is committed to you and your fitness. While this health crisis is keeping us from being able to connect with other runners and walkers in person, we continue to implement ways to be connected - and be active - with you.
So, please join Fleet Feet St. Louis for the Together We Move Challenge, a virtual mileage challenge designed to motivate you to run, walk or hike over a 6-week period (April 20th to May 31st) while engaging in friendly competition with your friends, old and new. This challenge offers both a Beginner challenge for those who will complete fewer than 25 miles a week and an Intermediate challenge for those who may move more than 25 miles per week. And while this challenge is mileage-focused, it does include some competitve features that will appeal to runners who feel the need for speed! |
Here's how it works...
![]() | Register for the challenge. The cost is $25 (includes shipping) and we'll send out your shirt. If you just want the shirt and don't want to do the challenge, that's cool. If you want to do the challenge, go to step 2. |
![]() | This is not required, but we'd love for you to set up an account on Strava and then join our private Strava club. We'll send instructions in your confirmation email. Encouraging, reminiscing, and friendly trash-talking is permitted and encouraged. |
![]() | Join either the Beginner (less than 25 miles per week) or Intermediate (25 miles or more per week) Challenge Hound group to track your Total Mileage. We'll send instructions in your confirmation email. |
![]() | Run, Walk, Jog, Hike, Saunter, Mozy to accumulate the most miles on foot in 6 weeks. Track the Challenge Hound Leaderboards for Most Distance, Most Elevation Gain, Most Consistency, and Most Dedication. Every step counts. The challenge runs from April 20 - May 31. |
![]() | Submit your best time from one activity each week into the Virtual Results. Your distance has to be at least as long as the Distance of the Week, but it's ok if it's longer. |
![]() | Cross your fingers! Each week on Monday we'll pick a random winner from each category to win a prize! |

FAQs
When will I receive my shirt?
We will order/ship shirts on a weekly basis, so you should receive your shirt within 7-10 days of your registration date. If more than 2 weeks have passed and you have not received your shirt, please email jake@fleetfeetstlouis.com
Do I have to join Strava to participate?
No, though having a Strava account will make logging your miles in the challenge much easier, and allow you to participate in the social aspect of the Strava Club. However, you can still join the challenge and simply manually enter activities by linking your Facebook account.
How does Strava work?
Once you create an account, you link it with virtually any tracking device you use for your running, walking, hiking, etc. Once you join the challenge and link your Strava account, syncing activities to the challenge is easy.
What is the distance of the week?
The distance of the week is the "race" distance of each week. We wanted to add a competitive element (for those who are into that kind of thing) so each week, everyone can submit their fastest time for the distance of the week and we'll display the results, so you can see how you stack up against your friends and rivals. This is not required...as the challenge is meant to be fun.
Are there awards?
Rather than do awards and make it overly competitive, we decided we would draw a weekly winner from each category (Beginner and Intermediate) for a prize of our choosing, to be determined each week. However, we do invite you to engage in the friendly competition for bragging rights using the challenge leaderboards and submitting your results for each week's "competitive" distance, so you can see how you stacked up against your friends and rivals.
I have a question not covered here.
