Q: Where do I go to find my rolling wave start time?
A: Go to your Race Roster Account and log in to find your rolling start time.
Q: How do I know what bus shuttle time I have?
A: Check the website for the bus shuttle time matrix. Rule of thumb: Your bus will leave the Silver Mountain Parking lot (under the gondola) 20 minutes before your rolling start time. Check here for bus shuttle information.
Q: Where do I pick up my swag bag and packet?
A. Packet pick-up will be at Hill Street Depot in Kellogg (446 Railroad Ave) on Friday, October 2nd from 3pm to 7:30pm. Please make sure you look at the packet pick-up time table to know what time you should show up. PLEASE WEAR YOUR MASK WHILE IN LINE AT PACKET PICK-UP.
Q: I can’t make my packet pick-up time and will be arriving later in the night. Is that okay?
A: Please try your very best to make your assigned packet pick-up time to assist with social distancing. However, if you need to come later in the night, that will be okay. We will be closing down packet pick-up at 7:30pm. If you can't make it by this time, you will need to pick up your packet at Silver Mountain in the morning.
Q: Can I pick up packets for friends or family beside myself?
A: Yes. Please have their names ready when you approach the table.
Q: If I can’t pick up my packet until the morning of the race, where do I do that?
A: Please pick up your swag bag and bib number at the packet pick-up table at the bus shuttle in the Silver Mountain parking lot under the gondola. Even if you plan to get dropped off at the start line, you will need to stop by the Silver Mountain parking lot to pick up your material. Make sure you show up at least 20 minutes before your bus time if you plan to ride the shuttle or 30 minutes before your wave time if you plan to get dropped off at the start line.
Q: Can I park at the start line of the 5k or the half marathon?
A: No. There is no parking available at the start lines of either race. If you have your own transportation planned, you must be dropped off.
Q: Can I get dropped off at the start line of the 5k or the half marathon instead of riding the bus?
A: Yes. The start line for the half marathon is at the underpass of I-90 near City Limits Pub and Grill in Wallace (108 Nine Mile Road). The 5K starting line is 1.1 miles west of the Big Creek exit ( Exit 54 from I-90), and can be accessed by the road that runs immediately adjacent to the south bank of the CdA River, first winding 0.5 miles downstream along the river and then winding 0.6 miles along the south side of the paved trail.
Q: When will I get my race t-shirt?
A: When you arrive at packet pick-up on Friday evening at Hill Street Depot, you will see the "Traveling T" booth with a display of shirt styles and colors. You can choose between a tank top or a unisex t-shirt and between many different colors. You will exchange the t-shirt ticket found in your swag bag for a t-shirt order. When you finish the race on Saturday morning, you will find your freshly-printed personalized t-shirt with your ticket and name on a table outside of Radio Brewing. If you weren’t able to choose your shirt the night before (you showed up for race day packet pick-up), you will need to redeem your t-shirt ticket at the finish line and choose your shirt then!
Q: Is the finish line within walking distance to the bus shuttle where I parked my car?
A: Yes! The finish line is in Uptown Kellogg outside of Radio Brewing Company on Main Street and it’s just a short and beautiful walk (8-10 minute) from there along the Trail of the Coeur d’Alenes to where you parked your car at Silver Mountain.
Q: Say what!? How do I win a car!?
A: We are selling raffle tickets for a 2009 Hyundai Santa Fe (donated by Dave Smith) at Friday night packet pick-up and at the finish line of both races to benefit the Silver Valley Chamber of Commerce! $20 a ticket or 6 tickets for $100 (cash, check, or card). Winners will be announced on October 17th and you do not need to be present to win!
