Washington Park District Get Out & Move "Safely" 5K

• This run will take place anytime during May 25-31, 2020
• Free Virtual 5K (3.1 miles) race can be run or walked anywhere you choose including the road, trail, treadmill or sidewalk
• Run your own race, at your own pace, and time it all on your own while maintaining proper social distancing
• Finishers can download a certifi­cate
• Submit your results/time and photo to the raceroster website following your activity. Please note all results must be submitted by Sunday, May 31^st.
• Age group winners for first place male/female in each of the following age groups (0-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59 and 60+) will be awarded with a medal.
• Cumulative results will be posted on the park district social media sites following the event

You can participate in the event within your own neighborhood, local recreational trail, or even within your own home on a treadmill. Outside runners should download a GPS tracking app to track your 5K (3.1 mile) progress as well as follow all social distancing guidelines including no group style runs.
