The 8th Annual Memorial Run is virtually upon us!

We’ve teamed up with the movement to Ignore No More and are asking you to walk or move for 29 minutes to honour Jessica’s memory!

On April 29, 2009 Jessica's life was tragically cut short by family violence. This spring, however, brought new hope for those navigating domestic abuse. Jessie's House officially opened to community on May 19, 2020. Now, local families and individuals of any age or gender, have access to the safety, hope and healing Jessica could never find.

Your participation honours Jessica’s memory, supports Jessie’s House; encourages a movement encouraging others to Ignore No More, and helps others break free from family violence.

Why has Jessie's Run become a virtual event?
Nothing is more important to us than your health, safety and peace of mind. Following COVID-19 guidelines from the Government of Alberta to eliminate mass gatherings and ensure physical distancing, this virtual event allows you and your family to get fit and help others break free from family violence.

Is there a registration fee?
Because we know the need for family violence supports in our community are high, and expected to increase as a result of COVID, we are asking you to make a donation in lieu of paying a registration fee.

We have also created a limited-edition keepsake medal to commemorate this event and celebrate the opening of Jessie's House this spring. Purchase a medal. Give a little. Give a lot. Give what you can to help others break free from family violence.
