It’s back! The MainStreet Libertyville Twilight Shuffle 5K is back for its 13th year and we are going virtual. Our theme this year is a nod to the Twilight Zone! Join us Labor Day weekend September 4-7th 2020 as we run into the twilight zone separate, but together. It's been a year of sheltering in place, social distancing, increased movement, positive family time and monumental support for Libertyville small businesses.
The Twilight Shuffle Virtual 5K 2020 will be directed by 847 Running Company with all proceeds going to MainStreet Libertyville - a volunteer based 501(c)3 that supports the small businesses you love and keeps downtown Libertyville buzzing.
About Race
This year’s event will take place virtually. What’s a virtual race? You can run, jog, walk, cycle, swim, use a wheelchair etc. to complete the distance on your own time. Enjoy a 3.12-mile course* of your choosing, submit results and earn your official medal.
Registration includes:
- Unisex technical T-shirt (if registered by August 26)
- Course maps (Landmark based routes provided or choose your own)
- Authentic PDF printable bib
- Virtual goodie bag
- Training plan, free STRAVA app access to track your training and share results on the BIG day.
Up the Ante
- The first 25 registrants will receive a physical goody bag with Libertyville goods (1 per family).
- Complete all courses between 9/4 - 9/7/2020 to be entered to win a pair of shoes from 847 Running Company. Proof of completion via Strava will be needed to qualify.
- Team Challenge! The team with the most registrants AND completions will receive a prize.
- We ask you to share your race completion with us via screenshot of your completed STRAVA miles, tag @MainStreetLibertyville and @847runningcompany #TwilightShuffle2020.
