Q. What sports qualify for the CAF Physical Activity Tour of Canada?
A. ANY Form of physical exercise will qualify for this event. Some examples include: Walking (indoors or treadmill) - Hiking - Cycling (stationary or on the road or trail) - Weight training - Zumba (watch a class online!) - Yoga - Rowing/Canoeing/Kayaking - Sports practice with your kids in your backyard! You get the idea. We just want to encourage getting active, so get out there and do whatever you like most.
Q. How is my travelling distance calculated?
A. The CAFPAT Challenge provides participants with kilometres covered as they travel from coast to coast or around the Country as a result of completing exercise time in increments of 15 minutes.Time = distance.
15 mins = 25 km; 30 mins = 50 km; 60 min = 100 km.
Do not worry about converting your time to distance. Just enter your time and let us do the rest.
Q. How do I enter my workout minutes to update my standing?
A. You can enter your workout minutes under "Total Minutes Trained" on your personal Race Roster dashboard or directly at the following link: https://raceroster.com/dashboard/Participant/Home.php?eid=31698. Make sure you hit SAVE after you enter your time. Please ensure you enter your time in numbers only (e.g. for 500 mins, enter 500) and that you enter your running total every time as the system will not update your total for you.
Q. Where can I check my standing against other participants?
A. You can check to see how you rank against other participants in time or see how far you have virtually travelled across Canada by clicking here.

Q. Can my exercise time apply to another initiative?
A. Yes! Did you know that the CAFPAT Challenge will count towards the Canadian Armed Forces Aerobic Award of Excellence where their exercise time may be utilized toward receiving this prestigious certificate and progressive recognition seals.
