RiverShack Tavern's River Run/Walk - VIRTUAL SERIES

The 2020 RiverShack River Run/Walk Series will be a VIRTUAL Run/Walk for this year.

How to participate: Run or Walk a 2 mile distance course between June 1st and June 30th at location of your choosing. Please adhere to the current safety and social distance protocols related to COVID -19 pandemic as stipulated by state and local authorities at the time of your run or walk.

If you choose to do the series you should do two separate run/walk events on separate days. *Suggested but not implied*

Scoring: Keep record of your time (s ) in the 2 mile. E-mail your name, time to NORSI@NOLArunning.com

Consider sending in a photo of your run or walk so that we can post. Deadline to send in results is July 3rd

Results will be compiled and posted at www.NOLArunning.com.

Listing will include those doing the " VIRTUAL " RiverShack East Bank and / or the RiverShack West Bank.

Course map links are included on this platform of the current 2 mile courses for East Bank and West Bank. Please denote location of your run/walk. ( East Bank, West Bank or both ) when sending results in.

NOTE that you may run or walk on any 2 mile distance course of your choosing. This event is a virtual race only

SWAG ( aka: “Stuff We All Get “)

Commemorative t-shirt, custom finisher medallion, race bib number for each of the two run/walk events in the series. If you register for the series and complete both series events you receive two t-shirts, medallions and bibs. !!

Distribution of SWAG: * PACKET PICKUP

Please denote if picking up packet ( t-shirt, medallion, bib ) at packet pickup events or

if you live out of town and request to have SWAG materials mailed to you.

Please allow 3-4 weeks for SWAG to be available after registration closes.

Packet Pickup for those that chose IN PERSON PACKET PICKUP

will be held at RiverShack Tavern-Jefferson and RiverShack Tavern-Gretna.

Date: Thursday, July 16th ( 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm )

* An e-mail was sent to each entrant that chose in person packet pickup to remind where to pickup ones packet.

Entrants selecting to have packet mailed please note *Mailed to a domestic USA address only

Entry fees: $25.00 per each race or $50.00 for two race series.

A portion of the race event proceeds will be donated to the Williams Syndrome Association.

On-Line registration closes at Noon on Monday, July 13th

Registration at packet pickup will be available . No guarantee of t-shirt size if registering at packet pickup event. Registration at packet pickup is cash only. Entry fee is $25.00 at packet pickup event.
