Help us raise money

Every year my family runs the Save a Sailor Regatta at the AYC in honor of my dad, Clif Robinson, to raise awareness of Melanoma, proper sun protection, and dark and stormies. My dad was a life long sailor who loved being on the water and outside as much as possible, rarely with sunscreen. He passed in 2015 after a short but courageous battle with Stage IV Melanoma, which seemingly came out of nowhere and wreaked havoc on his otherwise healthy body. While undergoing treatment, he developed and helped run the first Save a Sailor Regatta. The goal is to combine Clif's favorite thing, sailing fast, with a way to help his fellow sailors. Due to the pandemic, the regatta is cancelled, but we are excited to have a new opportunity to get outside (in our UPF gear and zinc), enjoy the summer, and raise money and awareness with IMPACT Melanoma. Please join us by donating and/or dipping yourself in zinc before heading out on the water, in Clif's honor.
