A Celebration of Movement, Training & Running

100 days, 30 challenges, endless fun.

Open to anyone, anywhere, a worldwide event.

We're hoping to make your summer just a little more fun and active as we celebrate movement, training & running!

You can make this challenge as wild and social, as challenging and difficult as you'd like, or you can keep it low key and just use it to approach your summer fitness goals with some variety.

Open to runners, hikers and walkers worldwide. Leaderboard that doesn't reward speed as much as dedication & creativity. Each unique challenge has a minimum run time associated with it, with most listed as a minimum 35 - 45 minutes, and the highest minimum workout time is just 60 mins. We've designed this challenge to be friendly and attainable by everyone. Completing the challenges awards you points, and there are "bonus points" available. Maximum number of attainable points is 1000 and this will be accomplished via the aforementioned creativity and dedication, instead of simply being based on foot speed.

This is also about community, giving back and making small contributions in our part of the world. CMTR has always made it a priority to support local Search & Rescue and trail organizations, and last year we surpassed $65,000 in donations. But without most of our events happening this year, we weren't sure how we could maintain that support. So, we're aiming to boost our fundraising efforts by donating $10 from every registration for this event to our three key local trail maintenance partners - NSMBA, SORCA and WORCA. Additional donations welcome, of course!

Every registered participant receives access to a custom-built portal with a trophy case, a leaderboard and social tools for sharing your accomplishments; a physical award kit including a lanyard and 30 custom buttons, one for each challenge; and of course, an event sticker.

The Summer Scavenger Hunt is on until September 16, 2020. Registration is now closed, but our Merch Store is open until Oct 31, although we're already sold out of some items and sizes so don't delay!

Watch your inbox once you're registered for 2 confirmations - one from Race Roster, the other from Coast Mountain Trail Running, which will contain the link and your unique access code for activating your Summer Scavenger Hunt profile, dashboard and trophy case!!
