Whirlaway Virtual 5K/10K Summer Classic
June 8 to August 2, 2020
From 1997 to 2006 the Whirlaway Summer 10K Classic was a favorite race for a lot of runners. It was voted one of New England top 100 races by New England Running Magazine. It was the New England Grand Prix Championship 2004 to 2006. So many runners have asked us to bring the race back over the years. We have teamed up with our friends at ASICS and are now able to do it virtually. We also added a 5K so more runners can participate. Anyone can do this race! Run, jog or even walk…fun for the entire family!

Here is how it will work:
- Run your 10K or 5K anywhere and anytime between now and August 2nd.
- Upload your results by August 2nd.
- First 150 people registered get a free ASICS tech tee, $20 retail value (unisex sizing).
- Everybody wins! Your $25 dollar entry fee will be turned into a $25 gift card at Whirlaway Sports towards any ASICS product. In addition to the gift cards we will have prizes chosen at random for finishers.
- Share on social media and use #VirtualWhirlaway10k to win prizes as well.
- Receive a custom finisher's certificate when you post your result!
