Battle at the Burg Social Distanced Edition and Merica edition!

It's time to race bikes and celebrate MERICA!!! Well, not together of course. Its time to best your friends with a hot lap at Cannonsburg Ski Hill! Its not like you will be at a parade or anything anyway.

How it will work: Riders will be sent off at 1 min intervals throughout the day with a pre-determined start time. We ask that you do not arrive earlier for your start, than a few minutes to prevent large gatherings of racers. You will be called to the line and sent off where your actual starting time will be recorded. Hammer, hammer, hammer, and then cross the finish line.

The deck will be open with food and beverages. We ask that you follow Cannonsburg's safety rules regarding social distancing while on the deck otherwise Danielle will throw your bike in the creek! Picnic tables will be spread out at the base of the hill...there is A LOT of space! So spread out to eat your food in a manner that is spread out. So, spread out.

Results will be updated throughout the day and final awards will be viewable after the last racer crosses the finish line.

Start Times will be assigned per order of registration. With Expert/Elite, Sport, then beginner.

Top 3 overall in all categories will be awarded and receive something! What you ask? Uhmm, great question. Let's go with items of some undetermined value consistent with the category that you raced in. Men and Women will be separated, and age groups will be broken into 10 year increments and shown online. Sorry, but nothing for the age group winners other than bragging rights and maybe a tip of the hat from that guy with the hat.

Elite/Expert, and Sport will ride one full lap. Beginners will ride a shortened lap.

Kids..... Well that is a hard one. We want them to race but how to social distance kids. That is a great question. Thanks! I thought so too! Well I need to think about that one and get back to you. Great! Thanks for your honesty! Your welcome.

No day of registration. We will have a place to pick up your race numbers prior to the event and will not have onsite pickup. Again, race numbers MUST be picked up before the day of the race to help streamline our process and keep everyone safe.
