Stepping Up Together: Virtual AIDS Walk & Run 2020

I am fund raising for my first virtual run in a few days. This year in particular, this wonderful organization that I have been volunteering with for years is in need of support. Fund raising helps to continue provide support services within the harm reduction framework, a scientifically proven concept that has come under scrutiny with AB's current government. This framework is extended to address the drug overdose crisis that is plaguing Alberta, with our supervised consumption sites at risk. The populations we serve are particularly vulnerable in a time of a pandemic, some with multiple pre-existing conditions. I was hoping you would help me with my efforts, Akhil

Donate to a participant by clicking the donate button next to their name. The amount you donate will help to fund programs run by HIV Community Link and to support those living with or affected by HIV. We offer education to communities, give non-judgmental support, tools and information, and offer harm reduction programs and services to populations in Calgary and Southeastern Alberta. 



By contributing to the AIDS Walk & Run you are helping us support those living with or at risk of HIV, prevent transmission, and decrease stigma associated with HIV. Our Mission is Wellness for individuals and communities affected by HIV and hepatitis C. With your support, we can achieve our Vision of Empowering choices, Engaging communities, Ending transmission.
