We’ve always been inspired by the dedication of our impossible2Possible (i2P) Youth Ambassadors and their commitment to the challenge of completing such gruelling expeditions!
Over the last 10 years, i2P Youth Ambassadors have literally run through some of the remotest parts of the world, and this year you can to...virtually!!!
2020 has been a different year and like most other events, ours will be a virtual challenge, running from Sept 15th to Oct 15. For 10yrs we have met in beautiful Gatineau Park, but this year we invite you to pick one of the selected i2P Youth Expeditions and cover that distance over the month to earn the logo for that adventure. We picked a handful from the 15 expeditions we have created over the last 12yrs....an amazing corner of the World for everyone!!! We encourage families to do this together, a few km each day or you can do it over 7 days like the youth ambassadors, the choice is yours!
The i2P Youth Ambassadors participate in detailed physical testing and follow a comprehensive training plan before they accomplish these runs. We encourage all participants to obtain their own medical advice and run within their abilities to ensure their own safety during the event. Participants are asked to acknowledge and accept that there are physical risks with any race and that they do not know of any health reason why they shouldn't be taking part in this event.
Selected i2P Youth Expeditions:
Baffin Island ( 2009) 110km
Bolivian Altiplano (2011) 200km
