YLL Virtual Fun Run

YLL Virtual Fun Run is a fundraiser event designed to raise funds for the Youth Leadership Laredo program and the YLL Senior Class of 2021.

Virtual running works exactly the same as any other type of running but the difference is that the entered race can be run at any location, at any pace, inside on a treadmill or outside in another country! All you have to do is register for the race and complete the instructions that are emailed to you.

The Youth Leadership Laredo Initiative is a comprehensive youth program that creates confident, leadership- oriented students who can achieve personal success.
YLL is made possible through the Laredo Chamber of Commerce with a strong collaboration by 8th grade counselors in all middle schools throughout Laredo.
Youth Leadership Laredo educates students selected for the program in all aspects of leadership. Topics covered during the YLL seminars include:
- Leadership
- Health & Wellness
- Finance & Budgeting
- Citizenship defined as Civic Leadership
- Arts & Music
- Education (High School & College) best practices
Youth Leadership Laredo is managed by a group of community leaders that have volunteered their time to assist our next generation. Members of our Board of Directors include leaders from multiple industries including: Banking, Insurance, Education, Human Resources, Manufacturing, Logistics, Transportation, Management, Medicine amongst others.
All money raised through YLL fundraisers goes directly back to the YLL program to help offset operating cost such as: facility usage, food for our students, supplies for students and most importantly the scholarships for our graduating 12th grade class.
This Virtual Race will feature custom dri- fit T-Shirts that celebrate our YLL Class of 2020!
