Keep Athens-Limestone Beautiful, Inc. has made the very difficult decision in light of the COVID-19 situation to CANCEL THE DUCK AND RUN 5K for this year. This has been a hard decision to make because of the funds lost for KALB, but the health and safety of our participants and volunteers are most important. Thank you for your patience and understanding and we hope to see you at next year's race!
This mildly challenging race will take runners through historic Athens neighborhoods and through the Courthouse Square. T-shirts: Must preregister to guarantee size . Runners and walkers are welcome!

Event Information
General Race Information: Starting and Ending point will be Big Spring Memorial Park in Athens. There will be one water station mid-way through the course and splits will be called at each mile.
Entry Fee: Pre-registration for 5K is $25. Late and Race Day Registration is $30. Online registration through Race Roster ends at 11:59 pm on 9/12/20.
First 25 to register will win a free entry into KALB's Wacky Quacky Ducky Derby on Saturday, October 3rd! *Must fill out form at Packet Pickup to be entered to win.*

5K Course Information: Course Certification AL10016JD. Begins southbound on East Street at the Washington Street intersection. Continues south on East Street to Forrest Street and turns right. Continues to Houston Street and turns right. Continues to First Avenue and turns right. Continues to Madison Street and turns right. Continues to Market Street and turns left. Continues to Marion Street and turns right. Continues to Forrest Street and turns left. Continues to Beaty Street and turns left. Continues to Big Spring Park and turns right into the parking lot. Continues to finish line a few feet before the park's dedication monument.
