We're celebrating our 10th year bringing holiday joy to families from across the region at this years Santa's North Pole Dash. Lots of changes for this years' run: including Shirts and Medals being SHIPPED before race day so runners can get their running outfits ready! Also, this year, we're offering a WOMEN'S CUT shirt and children sizes in our popular theme.
What's the theme you ask??? We're honoring the 1891 Tchaikovsky classic - The Nutcracker! Get your TuTu's ready and come run with us! The first 1,000 registered runners (all ages) will receive our themed Nutcracker medal which will be included when your run shirts are mailed.
Register before 11/10/2020 to guarantee your shirt will arrive prior to the run. Registrations after this date are not guaranteed.
** No Santa shirt this year - we have a dedicated Men's / Boy's themed shirt and dedicated Women's / Girl's themed shirt.

If you can't join our event in person, you can participate virtually. Shirts will be mailed if you register before November 10th. Shirts will be mailed for those who register after 11/10, but they won't be received until after race weekend.

Packet Pickup
Bibs will be distributed on 12/3 and 12/4 at Fleet Feet St. Charles, located at 3813 Mexico Road in St. Charles and on Race Day Morning from 7 am to 8:30 am in the parking lot of the Convention and Visitors Bureau - 230 South Main Street in Historic St. Charles.
** There will be no shirts or medals available at packet pick up. If you ordered past the deadline, shirts will be mailed, however, you may not receive it until after the race. Only the first 1,000 who register will receive medals.

Do I need a confirmation email to pick up my bib?
No, but it sure does help.
Where do we park?
There are several parking lots available to park in including the City’s free parking garage located at 2nd Street and Morgan, the Boathouse parking lot, located at the corner of Boone’s Lick Road and Riverside Drive, and the AT&T lot located at Clark and 2nd Street and the Foundry Art Centre parking lot located at the intersection of North Main Street and Riverside Drive. Street parking on Riverside Drive and Main Street will NOT be allowed. Also, there will be no parking in the public parking lots between First Capitol Drive and Boone's Lick Road
Can I register on race morning?
Yes, we will be accepting registrations on the day of the run this year. The cost to register on race day is $45 for the 5K run and $40 for the 1-Mile Walk. The cost for the Children's Snowman Shuffle will be $25. We will not have any shirts or medals available in person. If you choose to register after November 10th, shirts and any available medals will be shipped to your home after race day.
Are strollers allowed?
Strollers are allowed, but at the back of the pack.
Are dogs allowed?
Pets are not allowed in Frontier Park during Special Events and Festivals per city ordinance.
Can I pick up my bib on race morning?
Bib pick up will be held from 6:30 am to 8:00 am behind the Convention and Visitor’s Bureau, located at 230 S. Main Street in Historic St. Charles.
How is the awards ceremony going to work this year?
We will not be having an awards ceremony this year because of COVID and social distancing guidelines. We do not want to encourage any gathering of crowds after the race. You can call the offices of the Greater St. Charles County Chamber of Commerce the following week to make arrangements to come by our office to pick up your award after the final results have been posted to the Race Roster website. What are your criteria for canceling the race?
By definition, all unforeseeable events or occurrences that may affect the Santa’s North Pole Dash cannot be succinctly defined. GSTCCC acknowledges that its events are in East Central Missouri where cold and icy days are common in the winter. As such, the Santa’s North Pole Dash generally shall occur come rain, snow or shine because GSTCCC understands the training and expense participants have invested in competing in our race and training. In the event that County Executive Steve Ehlmann or Missouri Governor Mike Parsons should limit event size, all registrations will be moved to the virtual race option. The event will still happen, but everyone will be running on their own.
Can I get a refund?
GSTCCC will not provide refunds to participants, sponsors, vendors, or others who have expended funds on the race. The Santa’s North Pole Dash requires an extensive amount of planning and pre-event expenses that include proper permitting, course control, and the purchase of food and beverages, shirts, and race awards.
Can the event be delayed or postponed due to inclement weather?
It is not possible for us to delay or postpone our race by even an hour or two. The goal of the Santa’s North Pole Dash is for our athletes to participate in our run and stay in the historic district to enjoy the fine dining and shopping venues available during the holiday season. We cannot hamper the small business owners in Historic St. Charles by closing down the streets during their busiest retail season to conduct our race.
