The Southeast Health Foundation, Inc.

The Southeast Health Foundation, Inc. is a 501 (c)(3) public, not-for-profit public charity. The Foundation is located on the campus of Southeast Health. Southeast Health is the region’s not-for-profit 420-bed community hospital. The hospital is governed by the 13-member volunteer board Houston County Healthcare Authority. Through prudent financial management, Southeast Health has been able to meet the needs of its patients for over 50 years; however, it faces many challenges: a growing demand for care driven by an aging population, decreasing reimbursement structure, and rising uncompensated care. With the community’s support of the Foundation, the acquisition of equipment and technology and the expansion of health and wellness programs will occur sooner rather than later.
