My Story…
I will be participating in the 10 km Run to End Endo to raise money for research and funding for endometriosis. Any donations and/or shares on this post is hugely appreciated. 💗
More than 1 in 10 women suffer from endometriosis. Experts believe this number is significantly higher due to underreporting, misdiagnosis, and lack of nonsurgical and non-invasive diagnostic methods. The average wait time for diagnosis is 8-10 YEARS. There is a severe lack of funding, research, and awareness.
Endometriosis is a whole body disease, which can potentially cause severe chronic symptoms throughout the entire body, including incapacitating pain, severe chronic fatigue, infertility, immune and endocrine dysfunction as well as damage to multiple organs and tissues, including bowel, bladder, uterus, diaphragm, muscles, nerves, lungs and liver when left untreated.
Your generous donations to The Endometriosis Network Canada will help to continue reaching people living with endometriosis and their support systems by raising vital awareness, furthering educational programming and support, and reducing current barriers to diagnosis.
Donate to help Christie raise money for Run To End Endo 2020’s fundraising campaign.
