4th Annual University of Delaware Homecoming 5k - A Virtual Event -

HOW IT WORKS

1. Register - Choose your event: 5K (3.1 miles)
2. Race - Walk or run ANY day Oct. 19th-25th. Use a fitness watch or smartphone app to track your distance and time. Take a picture of your record.
3. Share - Submit your time and picture of your record. Submit your results. Share photos on Facebook and Instagram!

SMARTPHONE APPS

There are many free apps that you can download and use to record your virtual results. Use one of these apps to track your run or walk. Or use your favorite app or smartwatch. Most importantly, don't forget to save your activity and upload your results!

Blue Hen Strong Fund

Faced with an unimaginable global crisis, many UD students have been, and will continue to be, impacted by unforeseen hardships, such as new financial burdens, struggles related to career readiness and stress surrounding the new landscape of online learning. Gifts to the Blue Hen Strong Fund will directly and immediately address the urgent needs of our UD students to ensure their success at UD and beyond – providing success grants to cover tuition, access to technology and advancements to online learning tools, career readiness support and so much more.

Employee Emergency Relief Fund

The Employee Emergency Relief Fund supports eligible faculty and staff members who are experiencing temporary hardship as a result of an unanticipated crisis including, but not limited to, fire, theft, natural disaster, sudden death or illness in the immediate family, pandemic, etc. The fund, which is managed by the Office of Human Resources, will be administered through grants of up to $1,000 (via an application process) and is designed to address temporary financial hardship that faculty and staff may be experiencing as it relates to the aforementioned circumstances.
