Help us raise money

Mike has been a member of the Wellwood Walk/Run/Wheel committee for 16 years, and the rest of us have volunteered with the race ever since.  Our family is proud of the support Wellwood has provided for people “Living with Cancer” and wanted to support Wellwood and their vision: “Wellwood will share the wisdom gathered from the experience of those who live and work with cancer to ease the journey for all”.

During our involvement with Wellwood, our father/grandfather and our friend, Jerome, were both diagnosed with colorectal cancer. They have since passed – but, during their journey, being involved with Wellwood provided support and some comfort for us. So now, in their memory, the Scott family will walk 10 km, run 10 km and cycle during the week of October 18-24 for Grandpa/Dad and Jerome, while virtually “Kicking Cancer’s Butt”.
