My 37th birthday plans? Cancelled. The Chicago Marathon? Probably cancelled. Most of Project Purple's 2020 races and events to raise funds for their mission? Cancelled; however, pancreatic cancer isn’t cancelled. You know what else isn't cancelled? My passion and commitment to supporting those battling this disease. I have spent every year of my 30's running for those who can't and I wanted to celebrate my 37th birthday by supporting the work of Project Purple. An organization that does everything in their power to fund research and early detection so folks can be around to continue to celebrate more birthdays. And so, Kee's Hunt for a Cure scavenger hunt was born!

Why a scavenger hunt?

Because I love them! Also most of us are still under quarantine, and we could all use a little fun, no? I thought a scavenger hunt would be a great way to have fun with most us being confined at home or in our local communities.

How does it work?

Registration is $10 and on Friday, July 10th (my birthday), you'll be emailed the scavenger hunt list. You can hunt alone, have your spouse join you, have the whole family hunt together, get friends to hunt with you as a team, have a friend register and compete against them etc., The "hunt" will run from 7/10 until the end of the month. Plenty of time to execute things on the list and have some fun along the way. While you hunt you'll learn some facts about Project Purple and pancreatic cancer, and you'll learn some fun facts about me along the way too! Love nachos and margaritas? This is the scavenger hunt for you because those may or may not be on the list!

Can I win Something?

You sure can! Everyone that registers for Kee's Hunt for a Cure will be entered to win a $25 gift card to a place of their choosing. The overall winner with the highest number of points from the hunt will win a $50 gift card to a place of their choosing and Purple Yeti Tumbler!
