Help Lizet raise money

When you think of a runner, who do you picture? If you asked me before May 2018, I would not have described anyone who looked remotely like myself. That warm spring day when I first joined PIONEERS Run Crew marked the start of my journey as a runner (yes I finally accept that now) and the moment I became a part of a diverse running community committed to uplifting one another in all aspects of life. Yes we run together, yes we like to PR, yes we like to have fun but what fuels us is our love of community. As a group largely made up of people of color, we know all too well that our lives and the lives of those we care about are greatly impacted by systematic racism, inequality and oppression, yet we RISE and we THRIVE because of the support we offer one another. I am truly honored to participate in Pioneers first solo fundraising event as we commit to supporting and bringing awareness to organizations in Boston working toward a more just and equitable society.
