Help Eric raise money

It should go without saying: BLACK LIVES MATTER. We all need to take action whenever, wherever, and however, we can, and part of that work involves supporting people who are already taking steps to dismantle racism and other systems of oppression in our communities.

I'm running this virtual 5k to raise money for the Helen Y. Davis Leadership Academy.

Helen Y. Davis Leadership Academy is a tuition free charter public school located in the historic Fields Corner neighborhood of Dorchester, and serves 216 students in 6th, 7th and 8th grade. The late Mrs. Helen Y. Davis, for whom the school in named, was a prominent African-American business leader who was a role model for Boston’s African-American community during the time of civil upheaval in the late 1960s.

Incredible fact: 93% of educators at the Academy identify as people of color, in contrast to just 8% state-wide!
