Safety Information
This event is meant to be completed on your own but “together virtually”. Participants should plan to avoid putting strain on current health systems by following social distancing practices and other public safety measures in light of the ongoing pandemic.
Please consider planning a route that is not heavily trafficked, follow road/traffic laws, and do not congregate in large groups to complete the run together. The option to complete the event anytime between August 7th-9th is meant to address social distancing concerns, as well as offer flexibility around work/personal schedules. Please visit B.C.'s Response to COVID-19 page for information on safety guidelines recommended for the current stage of BC's restart plan.

Where does my registration fee go?
100% of registration fees will go toward supporting the work of the following organizations:
Vancouver Foundation
We need to make sure charities providing housing, food, and frontline services can do their work. This also includes supporting the arts, culture, and other essential community benefits. The Community Response Fund was launched by four partners with a long history of building strong communities: Vancouver Foundation, Vancity Credit Union, United Way Lower Mainland, and the City of Vancouver. Through the Community Response Fund, you support all the vital services communities need to weather this storm — as we get people back on their feet, we also need to create supports that keep them there.
Support Local BC
Want to support your local economy? Choose the "Treat Yourself" Registration option to get $10 from your registration fee back in the form of a giftcard to Support Local BC, an online platform connecting small businesses to the community. Your giftcard will be emailed to you on Monday August 10th so you can treat yoursefl at any cafe, restaurant, or other small business in your community that is registered on the platform.
BC Community Alliance
The BC Community Alliance is a community based organization dedicated to combating the structural inequities created by anti-black racism in educational policy and practice. Our goal is to gather organizations and community members under one umbrella to form a larger, unified voice when addressing incidents of racism in our communities. We believe that working together provides evidence of our collective strength as a community.
RAVEN Trust
The environmental challenges that face many Indigenous Peoples in Canada are really challenges for the entire world. Fundamentally, we believe these are issues of human rights and climate change – guided by some of the most brilliant legal advisors in the country, we work to enshrine environmental justice for all. Indigenous Peoples in Canada have some of the most powerful environmental rights in the world: but only if they can afford to uphold them in court. That’s where RAVEN comes in.
