My Story…
I was diagnosed with diabetes in April 2020, a month after after being originally quarantined during the ongoing pandemic. Although my life was changed forever, I am determined to defeat this disease. I someday want to become a scientist who helps find a cure for diabetes. This race is the perfect way to raise awareness as being active is an important part of managing this disease. Please help me fund research efforts in understanding and treating T1D. :)
