Keji Multisport Challenge 2020
August 30 at 6 am - September 13th at 6 pm
We hope that you have been keeping up with some training or inspired to start training for this late season opportunity. You will be able to do the Keji Multisport Challenge anytime between August 30 at 6 am and September 13th at 6 pm, and will be required to follow all current COVID Health Guidelines and Restrictions for our region and Kejimikujik National Park.
This is your opportunity to customize & create your own Multisport Challenge, or knock your own triathlon out of the park while enjoying the luxury of doing it on your own schedule, either on the beautiful Keji course or on your own Home course. Results for registered athletes will be posted in Keji and non Keji course categories and all will receive a small Keji Towel in the mail (we're big on beautiful and practical swag). We'll have a virtual certificate and banner for social media glory and Spirit of Keji prizes will be awarded randomly. We're also setting up a Strava Group for capturing results for those doing the Keji Course as some extra fun - thought there might be some fun to be had with some segment records.
We're also inviting you to consider creating your own Keji Multisport TRI Adventure. Share your experience with photos, videos, TikToks etc. and if we "Catch You @ Keji" on social media having (safe) fun on the water, on wheels and on foot you could win one of three 2021 Canada Parks Passes. We hope you will consider looking into all that Keji has to offer and check into rentals at Whynot's Outfitters at Jakes Landing (https://www.whynotadventure.ca) for kayaks, paddle boards, or canoes; bring whatever bike or non-motorized wheels you have to enjoy the trails or quiet roads, and definitely do some kind of trek on the lovely trails.
This year we have also chosen to support Make-A-Wish Atlantic. With fewer expenses with a virtual / OYO event we've kept the registration fee low and will contribute any surplus to Make-A-Wish. If you are able to and would like to donate here is the link to do so directly: makeawishcaKeji-Multisport-Virtual-Challenge- We have some special Keji athletes that have personally been touched by Make-A-Wish this past year, and we dedicate this initiative to them.
HERE ARE THE 2020 OPTIONS ..... now over to you the athletes and participants. Have some fun and above all stay safe!
