Are you able to walk or run? Do you like to help others? Here's an event for you. Sign up for the Trot Together 4 Project Purple to fight against Pancreatic Cancer! What is my WHY? I lost my mom to the evil pancreatic cancer in just 4 days after she was diagnosed at just 72 years young. We miss her everyday. On November 1st, I will running a virtual 26.2 miles in memory of her for Project Purple. The funds raised for Project Purple go directly to help those fighting against pancreatic cancer by offering financial assistance to pay patients' bills, sending care packages to newly diagnosed patients, and part of the money goes towards a grant each year to research how to treat/diagnose pancreatic cancer. Will you join me by Trotting Virtually?
The low entry fee is $7.42 and goes toward my marathon fundraising efforts. For your entry fee you will help in the fight and get a bib for your virtual race! You can choose your distance of 2 miles, 4 miles, or 7 miles: the significance of the mile choices are in honor of mom who was only 72 and passed in 4 days! Let's Trot Together 4 Project Purple to do our part to end this evil disease. No one should lose a loved ones just 4 days post-diagnosis: this must end! You can do your part by walking or running anywhere you want, any day you would like by 8/22/2020, and I would love you to post a selfie of yourself after your race!
