Join us to "Run with Rankin" and support the Churchill Center & School Scholarship Fund!
This virtual “Run with Rankin” is a race you can run at any location, outside or on a treadmill, at your pace, alone or with a group of friends. Choose a 1-mile or 5K course! Train and stay active, run for a good cause and have fun!
Churchill Center & School has a long-standing tradition of having our students run a mile in Motor Skills class. Executed by our Motor Skills Supervisor Mr. Rankin for the last 37 years, this activity allows our students to focus their attention on running and working toward a goal, which is something that carries with them throughout their time at Churchill and beyond. Many of our alumni include running the mile as one of their favorite Churchill memories!
This virtual “race” will help bring our Churchill community together, even while we have to be socially distant. Run in honor of your favorite Churchill student, teacher or anyone else! Medals will be awarded to top runners in each age bracket.
Race dates: September 7 (Mr. Rankin’s birthday) through September 20, 2020

Pickup location: Churchill Center & School, 1021 Municipal Center Drive, St. Louis, MO 63131 – Outside Plaza
Pickup Times: 2:00 - 4:30PM Tuesday, September 1 – Friday, September 4, 2020
Your registration includes a soft cotton short-sleeve race t-shirt. Long sleeve tech shirts are available for an additional cost. If you’d like to have your shirt shipped directly to you, please add Direct Shipping to your registration.
Additional Information
You can choose to do either a 1-mile or 5K course in your neighborhood, or any location you choose. This virtual “race” will help bring our Churchill community together, even while we have to be socially distant.
Important dates to remember:
• Early-bird registration ends on Monday, August 17
• Rolling registration through Sunday, September 20 (additional fees apply for registration after 8/17/20)
• Race shirt pick-up: September 1-4 between 2:00-4:30 PM at Churchill Center & School, Outside Front Plaza, 1021 Municipal Center Drive, St. Louis, MO 6313 (if you chose to have your shirt shipped directly to you, you’ll receive shipping information)
• Virtual Race to be completed sometime between Monday, September 7 (Mr. Rankin’s birthday) and Sunday, September 20
• All participants need to enter their best “race” times into our event website HERE by 11:59 PM on Sunday, September 20
• Winners in each age bracket will be announced on Monday, September 21 via our Run with Rankin Event page on Facebook

Winners will receive medals for best times in the following categories for both the 1-mile and 5K courses:
• Top Runner Overall (Male and Female)
• Top Runner by Age (Male and Female): 10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39,40-49, 50-59, 60+
