About the Heroes for Hope Virtual 5K

Your registration helps survivors of human trafficking by providing them with life impact skills.

All registrations completed before August 17, 2020 are guaranteed a t-shirt. We will try to provide t-shirts to late registrants but they are not guaranteed.

If you register a group of 5 or more people you have the option of a team name, company name or family group name to go on the back of the t-shirts. This is guaranteed before August 17, 2020.

Hope Against Trafficking is a 24 month residential program that provides restorative housing and comprehensive services focused on physical, mental, emotional and economic transformation for survivors of human trafficking.

We encourage you and your group or family to dress up and share photos of your participation in the Heroes for Hope Virtual 5K.

Share your photos through the event app or tag @HopeAgainstTrafficking on Facebook or use #HeroesforHope on Instagram. We look forward to seeing your photos, whether you dressed up or not!

What is a Virtual 5K?

It is a 5K that you can do wherever you are and however you want. You can bike, swim, run, walk, or fly. You do not have to go to a specific location and follow a route set up by the event organizers at a certain time.

What do I get for my registration fee?

Most importantly you are helping survivors of human trafficking. In addition, if you register before August 17, 2020 you are guaranteed a t-shirt. Unfortunately, if you register after August 17th we cannot guarantee a t-shirt.

What if I have a group?

That's fantastic! This is a great way to engage with employees, clients, customers, friends and family on Labor Day Weekend while making an impact on real women in our program. Groups of 5 or more can have their team name, company name, organization or family name on the back of the t-shirt, but you must register before August 17th.

1. Team Captains- please complete your registration with the team name for the back of the shirt.
2. Each person can register separately.
3. Please ask any other members of your team to reference your name in the team name section of the registration.

How do I pick up my t-shirt?

We have several pick up locations so far and they are located in Milford, Sterling Heights, Troy and West Bloomfield. We are working to add more locations so if you have a question please reach out to our Director of Development at janna@hopeagainsttrafficking.org. We hope to have t-shirts available starting September 2nd. Details for each specific location will be sent in advance and arranged through each location.
