UPDATE !!! We have decided to do a Driv-Thru style this year. Due to the bushwacking clean-up of the island it has stirred up the ants... eventually they will find a new home but for this year its best we let them figure it out on their own :) . We will take your order as you approach the island, do a full circle of the island in your kayak and then your order will be ready :) Next year will this event will be bumped up a notch, you won't want to miss out ! NO ANTS next year, their lease is up .

On-site registration will take place at Rotary Park (on the Samson Trail)

Registration fee only $15 per person (processing fee included)

Please Note: if participants enter event with a watercraft holding more than one person, each participant must register.

Registration Includes a Gift Card for a 6" Sub from Subway & One Free Gojis Belgium Chocolate Dipped Cone coupon with every online registration, coupon and gift card will be distributed at the event.

Kayakers, Canoeists & Paddle Boarders will launch from Rotary Park anytime after 1:30pm and will "Ride the River" until approximately 6pm. The length of the paddle is approximately 7km return (approximately 1.5 hours each way)

Participants will enjoy a stop on Blueberry Island for a short rest and refreshments, all included in the registration fee.

The event expects to attract 100 or more experienced and non-experienced kayakers and small watercraft enthusiasts to provide a fun experience.

All participants will be entered into a draw for prizes ! Major door prize PICTOU LODGE GETAWAY :) ! The best prize will be an awesome time spent in community with all of the others riding the river!
