Breaking the Cycle 5K+

Join Artemis Center for the Breaking the Cycle Virtual 5K+! Walk, run, bike, hike, or paddle a 5K during Domestic Violence Awareness Month and show your support. This fundraising event helps us provide lifesaving services to domestic violence survivors and their children.

Complete your 5K anytime during the month of October. Use your own running app to track your time or download the Runkeeper app to automatically upload your results once your race is complete. Instructions for uploading your race time will be provided before the event.

The Breaking the Cycle 5K+ can be completed as an individual or as a team. Artemis Center prizes will be given for the following:

1. Best post-race selfie shared with Artemis Center's social media accounts

2. Best purple running outfit shared with Artemis Center's social media accounts

3. Top-fundraising individual

4. Top-fundraising team

Event t-shirts and tank tops featuring one the event logo and sponsors can be purchased during registration. Merchandise will be mailed directly to participants from a local Dayton printing company. Orders placed before September 17th will be received by October 1st. Orders placed after will be shipped in the second mailing round.
