Oswegoland Cross Country

This fall, the Oswegoland Park District looks to integrate its inaugural Cross Country into SD308 junior high schools (Traughber, Thompson, Plank, Murphy & Bednarcik). This program will be open for all students in 6th – 8th grade, with divisions for both boys and girls. Students will practice at their respective schools on Tuesdays and Thursdays for a month. Each Friday, students will record qualifying times in home meets amongst their teammates. The top scores in each group after the five-week season will be invited to compete in a district wide meet to represent their school.

Bednarcik Junior High School Closed

This program is for student's attending Bednarcik Junior High School. This program will take place at Bednarcik Junior High School located at 3025 Heggs Rd., Aurora, IL 60503

Murphy Junior High School Closed

This program is for student's attending Murphy Junior High School. This program will take place at Murphy Junior High School located at 26923 W, Grande Park Blvd., Plainfield, IL 60585.

Plank Junior High School Closed

This program is for student's attending Plank Junior High School. This program will take place at Plank Junior High School located at 510 Secretariat Ln., Oswego, IL 60543

Thompson Junior High School Closed

This program is for student's attending Thompson Junior High School. This program will take place at either Bednarcik, Murphy, Plank, or Traughber. Thompson did not have enough runners to have their own site. Students who attend Thompson will still receive gear and represent their school, but have to practice and meet at a different SD308 junior high school.
