Feeder Canal Alliance Annual Canoe and Kayak Race

The Feeder Canal Alliance will still be holding its annual Canoe and Kayak Race, but this year it will be Virtual. Complete the 5 mile paddling course on the Feeder Canal, or any other 5 mile course of your choosing, and submit your time through the RaceRoster website. This event will continue to support the Feeder Canal Alliance and its educational programming along the canal. The event is also open to anyone who would like to run or bike the distance as well.

The Classic route begins at Overlook Park in Queensbury, NY and ends at The Boat Basin on Martindale Ave in Hudson Falls. It is 5 miles of paddling along the Feeder Canal. You may paddle or run this route to participate, or you may paddle, run, or bike a 5 mile distance anywhere you like and submit your entry for the race this year. Race can be completed any day between 8/21/2020 and 10/31/2020.

** Please note there are often trees and other obstacles that can end up in the canal. Water can also be low at times. Please proceed cautiously and report any obstacles to info@feedercanal.org.
