My Story…
My day started when I was prepping my classroom and felt just fine. That afternoon, I went to the gym to workout. After dinner, I had chest discomfort and jaw pain. I checked my watch - my heart rate spiked and Fred called 911. I had a normal ekg and the paramedics gave me asprin. Off to the er where the doctors found elevated triponin. I had a widowmaker heart attack. The cardiac team saved my life with two stents and diagnosed me with scad. I am a SCAD survivor with a grateful heart.
